Who am I?
My name is Tianyang Pei, and I was born and raised in Anhui Province in eastern China. I am a lover of literature, especially classical Chinese poetry, and my greatest dream is to become a ameteur translator (even though my English is not very good at the moment) to convey the charm of classical Chinese poetry to the world. I came to Vancouver, Canada to study in May 2023, and I hope that under the high-quality teaching environment in Canada, I can make great progress in English and realize my dream someday!
My Educational Goals and Interests
I am currently enrolled in the Business Administration program at Capilanou University. I am very excited about the content of this course and I hope that it will improve my spoken English and make me more confident. However, my career goal is not to become a businessman or a manager; my plan is to complete my four years of study here and then become a teacher who teaches this subject. Of course, in that case, in my spare time, I can try to translate some poems and continue to fulfill my dream.

The apartment in which I am currently living is located in Burnaby which is located on the land of the Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla, S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), Qayqayt, Hul’ qumi’num Treaty Group, Tsleil-Waututh, Musqueam and Stz’uminus.
